Metabolance offers you a choice of small-scale organic, local meats. This meat is FRESH and vacuum-packed (not frozen). It has to be pre-ordered before Monday 10:00 for pick-up on Friday between 16-19h.

Better prevent than treat: the animals are taken care of with homeopathy, aromatherapy and oligotherapy.
The animals are transported in vans that are foreseen of all modalities to make the pigs as comfortable as possible and minimize stress. Even in the slaughterhouse they are moved around in groups (which makes them feel less stressed) and allowed to calm down before anasthesia.

Breeds: Blonde d'Aquitaine, Charolais and Limousin.
Raised on grass for at least 24 months. Besides the grass and herbs, they get a supplement of organic grains and legumes (tritical, cloves, peas, faba beans, alfalfa) - all GMO free. From a nutritional point of view, 100% grass-fed is preferably over partially grain-fed. If you are interested in 100% grass-fed meat, check out the frozen Galloway meat I offer, from cows grazing all year round in natural reserves in Flanders.
The veal are fed with organic milk and later dried grass and grains (no anemia allowed).
